The ball mill structures and its influence to the production capacity

Ball mill is the key equipment to recrush after the first crushing of the materials. It is widely used in cement, silicate products, new building materials, refractory materials, chemical fertilizer, black and non-ferrous metal processing, and glass ceramics industry, it can proceed wet and dry grinding to various ores and other materials.

The ball mill structural design has a great effect on ball mill production capacity, it is the reason of clients prudent selection of ball grinding mill. The following four aspects will help to analyze how the structure of the ball mill played the irreplaceable role in production capacity?

 

(1) The ball mill length and diameter ratio has great relationship with production way: the ball mill used for open flow, usually with the length diameter ratio of L/D=3.5-6 to ensure the product fineness qualified in once. For grinding ring flow ball mill , we choose L/D=2.5-3.5 in order to increase the amount of material circulation.

 

(2) Grinding ball mill warehouse number: Generally, the bin number is 2-4 warehouse, the larger the ratio of length diameter, the more the number of positions, we can be determined through production practice experience. General dry ring flow production mill: Double storehouse grinding, the first bin long as the full-length 30%-40%, second warehouse as the full-length 60%-70%; Mikura Ma, the first bin long as the full-length 25%-30%.

 

Second bin long as the full-length 25%-30%, pod three full length 40%-50%. For ball mill open flow production, fine grinding barn should be appropriate to increase the length of. This is the production of high strength grade cement, this is to fine grinding to increase the material, so that products meet the fineness requirements.

 

(3) Ball mill shifting board: diaphragm in the form of a grate hole partition plate number and size must be appropriate, if the comb hole number, size is too small, the effective ventilation area partition plate is small, thus increasing the exhaust resistance, and material flow rate also affected. If the grate hole number too much or too large, then the partition plate strength is not enough, and it is easy to make coarse particles into a warehouse, load, the storehouse work will lose balance.

 

(4)Ball mill lining board: the influence of surface shape of the ball mill production is not small, because it can change the grinding body lifting height, namely the impact abrasive body of material and grinding efficiency. So, we should choose the right form of lining plate.
