The main component of limstone is calcium carbonate (CaCO3) and its Mohs hardness is 3. After crushing, limestone will be turned into particles, that is, stone, sand, or further ground into limestone powder which is widely used in building materials, roads, metallurgy, chemical and other industries.
Today we mainly come to understand the configuration and process flow of large limestone production lines. Limestone belongs to the low hardness, "jaw crusher + impact crusher" configuration can complete the stone production operations. If you need to produce mechanical sand, you can add sand making machine after impact crusher.
Standard configuration: vibration feeder → jaw crusher → vibrating screen → impact crusher → vibrating screen → sand making machine → vibrating screen → sand washing machine → finished material pile.
The limestone bulk material is fed by the vibrating feeder evenly to the jaw crusher for primary crushing, then the crushed material is sieved through the vibrating screen and transported by the belt conveyor to the impact crusher for secondary crushing. Sieved by circular vibrating screen,the larger particles of material will be sent back to the impact crusher for re-crushing; if you need more fine products, the crushed material will be sent into sand making machine for further crushing and shaping. Generally, the standard material for construction is 0-31.5mm.
